i was just thinking...if blacks were cursed...then wouldnt all of Noah's family be cursed also?

Sanctuary reply...,

Well, No pettels, It has nothing to do with pigmentation of the human skin, but it has everything to do with servitude. The

bible states that Ham's son Canaan was the one who was cursed by Noah, becuse Canaan's father, Ham the younger of

Noah's three sons, looked upon his father's nakedess. Read these verses below for clarification...,

Gen 9:22  And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.

Gen 9:24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

Gen 9:25 And he said, Cursed [be] Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

Gen 9:26  And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. Pettels said...,

Gen 9:27  God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

So you see that Shem and Japeth the two olderest of Noah's sons were blessed, and Canaan, Ham's son and his' descendants were to be slaves or rather servants to the two elder brothers. So the answer to your question is NO! not all of Noah's family was cursed.

and i was also wondering if the bible ever describes ones skin tone?

Sanctuary reply...,

No pettels, according to the bible it did not state a specific hue of Noah's skin tone. We do know that he was a descent of Adam. Adam was the first man God created and it doesn't state the race or skin tone of Adam or his descendants complexion. Here is the generation or linage of Adam-Noah and his sons here on this link

which also makes me think...canaan will be a slave to his brothers...then goes on saying...to his uncles he will be their slaves...so is it ham's brothers? or canaans brothers?

Sanctuary reply...,

Yes, Pettels, to Ham's brothers which are Canaan's Uncles and their descendants.

Im curious tho why you used Queen Charlotte of England as your center piece...from what i can gather...she had a good life...she birthed many children for her husband...she helped with charities, school and hospitals...she live long and happy...she also bought those ugly dogs... that the queen is always seen with today...into the royal world...If Blacks were cursed (which i totally disagree with) then in my opinion she is probably the last person to put up as the center piece...

Sanctuary reply...,

I foresee this article as proving that africans in various facit of life were of royalty. This article of Queen Charlotte was a pure example of our african heritage. If all africans were cursed then how did the Queen of Engand exist in a european's society as a superior. Look at this video it will tell you a lot more then the history books.

I want to share one more thing, look at this verse of scriptures to verify we were all of one race in spite of what complexion we are. Apostle Paul taught this truth to those who were at Athens umteen years ago...,

Act 17:26   And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

and if all of Noah's family was black...then the curse put on Ca'naan is kinda pointless....

so yeahh that curse is not on black people...in my eyes its impossible

and im done thinkin...its hurting my brain

i was just thinking...if blacks were cursed...then wouldnt all of Noah's family be cursed also?  because the only way that blacks  can be cursed is if all of Noah's family is black? and i was also wondering if the bible ever describes ones skin tone?

And as for the slavery...everyone assumes it means bowing down and kissing ones feet... didnt canaan (spelling) become nations? if he was that kind of slave then those nations would be under the brothers names...

which also makes me think...canaan will be a slave to his brothers...then goes on saying...to his uncles he will be their slaves...so is it ham's brothers? or canaans brothers?  either way i think the slave thing is read wrong...im sure there are other ways of being a slave...not sure...am still thinkin on all this...just needed to get these thoughts down...peace

That was an great explanation/opinion.  After I read it I had to keep going back cause I kept forgetting LOL  I started to comment and my throughts wouldn't stay in my head so I just said 'no' because I believe no and was easier than trying to explain since I couldn't remember.

I sometimes have the attention span of a goldfish which is as they say three seconds   That was very interesting though, thank you ladies

I didn't realise they were links under the picture...So i have read them both...only one really that needs to be commented on is of course the religious one...

Noah cursed his grandson to be slaves to his brothers...  i don't get that, but when i first read the story my immeadiate thought was that Noah was upset not because he was seen naked...but that Ham instead of covering up his father himself went and got his brothers whom did it...That not only did Ham see him Noah naked but also that he went and got his two brothers who could've (tho didn't) also seen him naked...

Well that was my first thought on it anyway...will think more on it tho...

Im curious tho why you used Queen Charlotte of England as your center piece...from what i can gather...she had a good life...she birthed many children for her husband...she helped with charities, school and hospitals...she live long and happy...she also bought those ugly dogs... that the queen is always seen with today...into the royal world...

I didn't realize that article was there so I read it and now I see what you mean.  I know nothing about the bible, never read it and never will but, in my opinion from reading that article no they are not cursed.

Did you Pettels and Catsmuffin read the articles I posted under the photo? You will find your answer to your question. You will understand in detail how this scenario started after you've read "Descendants of Ham." For years people had misunderstood the account given in the bible's old testament concerning Noah's son Ham. All you need to know is given in the article I posted for your viewing. Thank you both for showing a interest in this blog. If you have any further questions after you've read the article, I will be glad to answer anything you might not understood. Thank you for your inquiry and comment.  Serenity
